GafferPlot Remote Privacy Policy

GafferPlot Remote is an iOS app made and operated by Svetoslav Tcheresharski ("we", "us"), an independent developer in Sofia, Bulgaria. This policy covers the GafferPlot Remote app only. The GafferPlot web app has its own privacy policy.

1. The short version

GafferPlot Remote collects no personal data. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

2. What the app processes on your device

Lighting plans you paste in: fixture lists (model, DMX universe, address, mode) copied from the GafferPlot web app. These are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us.
RDM device data: identifiers and settings read from lighting fixtures on the local network (such as DMX addresses and fixture labels). This data travels only between your device and the lighting equipment on the same local network, and is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

3. Local network access

The app asks for Local Network permission because its entire purpose is to talk to lighting equipment (Art-Net gateways and RDM-capable fixtures) on the network you are connected to. This traffic never leaves your local network. The app makes no connections to the internet.

4. Data sharing and selling

We do not collect your data, so there is nothing to share or sell.

5. Children

GafferPlot Remote is a professional tool for film and stage lighting crews and is not directed at children.

6. Changes

If a future version of the app ever changes what data is processed, this policy and the App Store listing will be updated before that version ships.
