These Terms govern your use of GafferPlot (the "Service"), a web application for designing lighting plots, operated by Diaphragm EOOD ("we", "us"), a company registered in Bulgaria (UIC 205408292). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
GafferPlot lets you design lighting plots, calculate power and weight, generate DMX patches, manage a fixture library, and export documents. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription ("Pro"). We may add, change, or remove features over time.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a contract in your country. Keep your password secure; notify us of any unauthorized use.
Pro is offered as a monthly or annual subscription. New accounts may include a free trial period; after it ends, free accounts revert to limited features. Payments are processed by our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.
You retain ownership of the projects, fixtures, and data you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store and process Your Content solely to provide the Service (for example, cloud sync across your devices). Fixtures or data you choose to publish to the shared community library may be made available to other users.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to breach security or access other users' data; reverse-engineering, copying, or redistributing the Service or its code; reselling access without permission; or using the Service for unlawful purposes.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (other than Your Content), is owned by Diaphragm EOOD and protected by copyright and other laws. © 2026 Diaphragm EOOD. All rights reserved. No licence is granted except the right to use the Service under these Terms.
GafferPlot is a planning aid. Power calculations, DMX patches, weight totals, and fixture data are provided for convenience and may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for verifying all technical information before relying on it for real-world rigging, electrical, or safety decisions. The Service is not a substitute for qualified professional judgement.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the Service's outputs or from data loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete account data after a reasonable period.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Bulgaria, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under EU or local law.
