Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GafferPlot, operated by Diaphragm EOOD ("we", "us"), a company registered in Bulgaria (UIC 205408292), handles your personal data. We are the data controller. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. What we collect

Account data: your email address and an encrypted password, needed to create and secure your account.
Your projects and fixtures: the lighting plots and data you create, stored so they sync across your devices.
Subscription status: your plan, trial dates, and basic usage counts (such as number of exports), used to operate the free/Pro tiers.
Anonymous usage analytics: we use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies or track you across sites, to understand which features are used.

We do not collect payment card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider (Merchant of Record), which processes your payment information under its own privacy policy.

2. How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, sync your work, operate subscriptions and trials, send essential account emails (such as confirmation and password reset), and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertising.

3. Where it is stored

Account data and projects are stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) on servers in the EU (Frankfurt). Emails are delivered via our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run GafferPlot (hosting, database/auth, email delivery, payments, analytics), or where required by law. Fixtures or data you choose to publish to the community library become visible to other users; do not publish anything you wish to keep private.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your projects from active storage. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. After account deletion we remove your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records (for example, for tax or legal reasons).

7. Children

GafferPlot is a professional tool not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required to consent in their country.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
